When you’re registering an unregistered vehicle or transferring a registration to a new owner, a safety certificate is required in Queensland. In order to be deemed roadworthy, different elements of a car such as the tyres, brakes, steering, suspension and lights all have to be working properly. If your car fails its roadworthy, you have 14 days to get it on track.

When the Aspley Mazda team acquires a second-hand vehicle, we put it through a strict certification process that guarantees its safety and quality levels are high. This includes a full roadworthy and safety check to make sure the vehicle is legal and safe to drive on Queensland roads. Our experienced technicians carry this out, checking over every element of the car to make sure it’s in top condition before you walk in to buy.

120-point vehicle inspection

As part of this process, Aspley Mazda makes sure all of our vehicles pass 120-point safety inspections before we put them up for sale. This is our way of personally making sure no duds end up in our caryard. Only vehicles that pass the 120-point inspection in full make it to the ranks of our collection of used vehicles.

We have our own workshop on site so that we can handle all of the reconditioning in-house and be 100% involved in the certification process to qualify cars for the yard.
