Mazda recently unveiled its full selection of new SUV models at the Australian National Gallery in Canberra, as part of the ‘Gauguin’s World: Tona Iho, Tona Ao’ Exhibition. It was the first time these four models, all built with Mazda’s Large products Technology, had ever been gathered together anywhere in the world before. Their striking visual styles made them perfect metallic canvasses for visual projections of French artist Paul Gauguin’s artworks. And by the end of the year, Australia will be the only country where you can walk into a Mazda showroom and take your pick from all four.

Mazda CX-60

The CX-60 is Mazda’s new medium-sized flagship SUV, and it offers an elegant, upmarket option for dedicated Mazda drivers. The embodiment of Kodo essential design principles, the all-hybrid Mazda CX-60 artfully and powerfully showcases power, presence and bold proportions. With a 5-star ANCAP safety rating, it offers the choice between diesel, petrol and plug-in hybrid engines with a fuel economy range from 2.1L/100km to 7.4L/100km and up to 1726L of storage. European-inspired technologies including wireless smartphone connectivity and a fully digital instrument cluster.  

Mazda CX-70

The CX-70 is pure driving pleasure. And it’s so much fun to be behind the wheel, you’ll want to take the longer route. Available in two high-spec variants – GT or Azami – with the choice between petrol or diesel power, this Mazda comes with smooth and responsive acceleration and the grunt of a high-powered inline-6 e-Skyactiv G turbo petrol engine. It’s capable of 0-100 in as little as 8.3 seconds and the multi-speed transmission will satisfy those who are craving an old-school manual feel. Enjoy entertainment options like a 12-speaker Bose audio system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.  

Mazda CX-80

The all-hybrid CX-80 is the perfect vehicle for taking pleasure cruises and making new memories with your expanding family. Choose between seven seats or six captain-style seats for the ultimate in comfort and choice. Advanced technology helps prevent accidents and keep your family safe by detecting pedestrians or obstacles in your way, so that you can focus on the joy of the journey. Mazda CX-90

The largest of Mazda’s new SUV range, the CX-90 is available in three model grades with seven seats as standard. Choose between diesel and petrol engines, both with 8-speed multi-clutch automatic transmissions, and rear-biased all-wheel drive. The technology and entertainment features are designed to make any long drive a pleasure and include a 10.25-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, eight speakers and power-adjustable front seats.
